He provided practical guidance on avoiding common missteps that can weaken a patent owner’s position at the PTAB. Daniel highlighted strategies for addressing the challenges patent owners face, with inter partes review institution rates at approximately 67% and decisions invalidating all challenged claims in up to 70% of cases.
